Peregrine Labs has released Yeti 2.0, the first major update to its popular fur, feathers and instancing systemfor Maya in three years.According to Peregrine Labs, performance was a key focus of the new release, with “more aggressive use of multi-core processors” and full support for Viewport 2.0 to improve interactivity on larger grooms.New features include a Yeti Graph Panel for “tighter integration with Maya’s UI”, a refactored dynamics solver, updated brush dynamics and new sculpting tools.
