Just recently learned point wrangles, so I decided to experiment with the lerp expression with the mountain sop with point wrangle to make this ice transformation. The position of the man was used in a color gradient from back to front to be used as the transformation guide to control material change and the spikes growth. The slowing down was done with timewarp in houdini with expressions.
